RICHARD THE LIONHEART’S SWORD
Son of Henry II, King of England 1189-99, Richard was known as a powerful king, a chivalrous knight and a fearless warrior.
This handsome sword which bears his initials and famous crest with three lions measures and impressive 41.25” overall with a 27” blade and weighs 5.2 lbs.
The massive handle is cast in metal and finished with antique silver patina. Two roaring lion heads adorn the ends of the hand guard.
A cross is embossed on the pommet and rope crisscrosses the handle to ensure a firm grip. The scabbard is finished in simulated black leather with antique metal furniture. Richard’s three famed lions are cast in metal and set across the length of the scabbard.
You’ll be awarded this sword at your graduation as a symbol of your integrity and commitment to dedicate yourself to becoming an Iron Man Disciple of Jesus.
